Mary Ann Sibley grew up as a Buddhist and was never invited to church until she was in her 40s. That's when she met Jesus, started serving, and was asked to build a volunteer ministry from scratch. God grew to over a thousand volunteers and one hundred fifty leaders.
While a one-time speech can be inspiring, no matter how awesome, it can’t impart change without a plan and the leaders to take action to implement the vision. And that’s the part I love to dig into with church leaders.
Her company, MatterSpark, helps churches build real teams, not gather pools of people, because volunteers are not here to just further the mission, they are the mission.
