2020 will stand in our memories as a year of stagnation and of growth. Business, in general, nearly stood still for everyone to some degree.
Design though, in looking back, was almost effervescent. Innovations in space requirements, ingress and egress, and mechanical systems such as HVAC sprung up every time you logged on. The need for technology upgrades and the tools of church video production, recording, and streaming overshadowed nearly every other design concern.
And despite the collective upheaval and deep sadness for many, we learned to adapt and to seek solace and refuge in certain constants. The most important of these being that God's love and the gift of His Son will never waver.
