From San Francisco to Maryland, a church tech moves toward his true purpose
In this edition, CPM staff has chosen our first Church Production Hero of the Month, James Summers from Strong Tower Christian Church in Frederick, Maryland. Summers brings together broadcast technical skills with several decades of experience in AV, but it’s his focus on others—especially young people—that sets him apart.
He got his start in church production as a kid in Northern California, later securing the position of technical operations manager for the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers. Yet, despite this prestigious position, Summers found another that was closer to his heart: church technical leader.
