TouchDrive is a new family of control panels from Ross Video that will completely reinvigorate the relationship between the Video Director and their production switcher. TouchDrive brings the same touch technology we all know and love from the world of smart phones to video production switchers – even gestures. Every display on the control panel is touch enabled. All of them. This allows features to be dropped right under the fingertips of the operator.
The high-resolution, rich color touch displays on the TouchDrive panels provide clear visual cues to make source and device control faster. Operators can configure bus maps, assign button functions, delegate key buses or select the next transition type with absolute confidence.
As an incredibly powerful panel, TouchDrive includes a built-in DashBoard computer, which enables integrated control for various Ross products such as XPression, Tria+ clips and switch Ultrix. From the ultra-portable TD1C to the uncompromising TD3S, TouchDrive comes in five different panel sizes so you can choose the right fit for your budget and production requirement. Available later this month, these new touch-enabled panels replace all current Carbonite Black models except for the compact Carbonite Black Solo. Remarkably, pricing is on a par with to the outgoing Carbonite Black models.
