Q: What challenges is Riedel addressing in the church market at this year’s WFX?
A: Good communications make for better productions. Of course, camera and
lighting operators need to be able to hear direction. But stage managers, security,
and a host of other people can be more effective if they have a reliable means of
communicating with each other. Riedel wants the church market to know that we
have wired and wireless communications solutions that can scale to any require
-ment, and we’re here to answer your questions.
Q: What trends or themes do you expect to emerge at this year’s show?
A: Churches need to create quality content and get it out to as many people as
possible, all using largely volunteer staffs. With all of the technology options available
today, manufacturers need to provide guidance to ensure that clients are getting the
solutions that they need, that the tools are easy to use, and that they will scale as the
needs of the church grow.
Q: What are the main areas of focus for your company at the show?
A: Riedel will show its Artist digital matrix intercom system that easily scales
from a few panels to hundreds. Also featured will be our award-winning Bolero
wireless intercom system that operates in the repack-safe DECT frequency band.
New this year, our Bolero Standalone can work by itself or be interfaced with
other systems. We will also show our MediorNet line of real-time signal transport,
processing, and routing solutions.
Q: Why should attendees visit your booth, specifically?
A: Visitors to [Booth] #931 will experience for themselves the difference that
crystal-clear communications can make for churches of all sizes. Whether wired
or wireless, Riedel comms set the standard for quality, performance, and ease
of use. Come by, grab a Bolero beltpack, take a walk, and hear the difference!
For larger houses of worship, we can talk about several churches that use our
MediorNet real-time signal networks to completely link campuses and streamline
productions.
