Rusty Waite, President, K-Array USA
CPM: Tell us about the new approach K-array is taking for the church market and North America in general?
Waite: There comes a time during the growth of a brand when it makes sense to invest directly into the future expansion of that brand in a country. That time is now upon us in the U.S., and to ensure that K-array can continue to support the efforts of our dealers and end customers, we have decided to open our own subsidiary that is directly responsible for the sales, marketing and service of K-array solutions and products.
CPM: Will churches see a difference how and where they can buy K-array loudspeakers?
Waite: Our goal is to have a tight, knowledgeable family of K-array factory-trained and experienced dealers who understand our products and approach. Although the past distributor did a good job, especially in the northeast of the U.S., I’m positive that most will notice an improvement in our reaction time.
"[Our speaker solutions] offer a wide dynamic range and extremely fast impulse response. Our larger line arrays benefit from having the ability to be both mechanically and electronically steerable." Rusty Waite, President, K-array USA
CPM: Is there a competitive advantage that K-array offers to churches?
Waite: We offer a unique approach in speaker solutions in both portable and permanent solutions for churches. Our goal is to have systems that offer equal coverage over the audience area and are compact, lightweight, efficient and flexible. They also offer a wide dynamic range and extremely fast impulse response. Our larger line arrays benefit from having the ability to be both mechanically and electronically steerable.
CPM: What do you want churches to remember about the K-array brand?
Waite: That we think outside of the box and can deliver a solution that is pleasing, not only to the ear but also the eyes.
