A Father's Love, and How it Shaped the Career of One Church Filmmaker
Through the experience of working with his step-father and eventually his father-in-law, Baker turned toward his true passion, filmmaking, and soon began a budding career as a church filmmaker.
Allen Baker could easily have lost his way. But as he attests in Church Production Magazine's third installment of the video series "Across the Table," God had other plans.
Baker recalls his childhood days of being without a father figure early on, but then being blessed with a step-father whose love and presence would alter the course of his life--teaching him to become the kind of husband and father he is today.
Through the experience of working with his step-father and eventually his father-in-law, Baker turned toward his true passion, filmmaking, and soon began a budding career as a church filmmaker. Today he and his family live in Raleigh, N.C., where he continues to hone his craft in filmmaking, understanding full well the grace of God's direction in his life.
Shot by Woody Davis, a former church film tech, filmmaker and visual artist for Spiritfilm based in Brooklyn, New York, Church Production and Canon bring you Baker's story.
