Elation is introducing LimeLight, the company's new generation of powered color-mixing wash luminaires designed for color intensity and PAR light versatility.
“Engineered to astound with its exceptional output, LimeLight delivers high-quality light with a wide color spectrum and exceptional CRI, making it the perfect solution for a host of lighting applications,” the announcement states.
The LimeLight PAR is designed to be versatile for even stage washes, side or front lighting, backlighting, and silhouette effects to accent scenery, sets, or specific areas of the stage for both functional and aesthetic lighting needs.
LimeLight S + L
Available in two configurations, LimeLight PAR S features 7x 60W RGBL LEDs, while LimeLight PAR L raises intensity with 12x 60W RGBL LEDs. The added Lime emitter gives a boost to overall output and fills in the spectrum to create a more expansive color gamut. LimeLight PAR L delivers an output of 8,213 total lumens, while the PAR S version brings 5,345 lumens. Both fixtures are IP65-rated LED color changers, built to perform in any environment, from high-energy live shows to outdoor installations.
“At the heart of LimeLight is its cutting-edge zoom lens optical system, which delivers a highly homogenized output with flawless color and light distribution throughout the beam,” the announcement explains. “Whether you need crisp, defined beams for mid-air effects or a wide, even wash, LimeLight’s wide zoom range (5° to 40°, and up to 42° on the S version) is designed to meet any challenge. Plus, the ability to control the LEDs in two separate zones opens the door for dynamic eye-candy effects that will take your lighting design to new heights.”
LimeLight’s higher-wattage LEDs are designed for brighter, more vivid saturated colors. By not utilizing all four LEDs at once, the available power overhead between the LED engine’s total wattage and maximum power draw lets users boost the intensity of the active LEDs. This creates high-impact output for any saturated color.
Flexibility
A dedicated variable CCT control channel (2400K - 8500K) gives precise color temperature control, while CMY emulation mode caters to those familiar with that color mixing system. For a specific gel filter look, use LimeLight’s integrated library of calibrated color presets. Electronic dimming, variable 16-bit dimming modes, and strobe effects add to its range of capabilities.
Built for any setting—indoors or out— LimeLight’s IP65 housing includes an integrated gel frame holder, allowing for easy accessory add-ons. Its dual yoke design allows users to mount it on the floor or rig with a C-clamp or omega bracket for freedom of placement. The fixtures’ Aria X2 wireless DMX control also enables quick setup.
