Telycam announces new firmware for its Vision+ and Explore SE Series. Telycam cameras incorporate multiple programmable components – including the image processor (ISP), ARM processor and FPGA – that can be flexibly upgraded to add new enhancements.
“While our earlier updates required upgrading these components separately, we understand that can be a hassle for many users. We have evolved to offer an all-in-one firmware upgrade solution for each of our camera series,” the company’s announcement states.
The new firmware update applies to Vision+ series and Explore SE after FW V451. If a camera's current FW version is below V451, users are being asked to contact support@telycam.com.
Telycam asks users to be careful when updating features. “Please pay close attention to the model name when selecting files for your camera, and be sure to read the instructions thoroughly before proceeding with the upgrade,” the statement reads.
