Released at the 2017 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, QSC has unveiled two new models to its E Series lineup up of loudspeakers. Featuring the E218SW dual 18-inch subwoofer and the E215 dual 15-inch full-range cabinet, these models expand the E Series to six available loudspeakers.
Designed to meet high-output, low frequency reproduction in larger indoor or outdoor live venue applications, the E218SW subwoofer features dual 18-inch woofers with 4-inch voice coils. Power handling is 1800W continuous with a frequency extension down to 32Hz. Built-in handles, an optional caster kit, and a captive-skid system allows for easy transportation and safe ground stacking.
The E215 full-range loudspeaker features dual 15-inch low frequency drivers along with a large-format 1.4-inch high frequency voice coil. Offering 1200W continuous power handling and the company's Directive Matched Transition for uniform frequency response, the 75-degree horizontal coverage area and extended low frequency is ideal for enhanced output from a single passive box.
Both cabinets are constructed from rugged plywood with black, texture-coated pain and contoured metal handles. Factory loudspeaker tunings are found in QSC's DSP-equipped power amplifiers or TouchMix Series digital mixers, optimizing the cabinet and system performance.
Shipping in spring 2017, the E218SW will retail for $1,119 while the E15 will retail for $999.
