PreSonus introduces its new StudioLive AVB Mix Systems, which combine one or two StudioLive RM-series rack mixers, a StudioLive CS19AI Ethernet/AVB control surface, plus integrated control, recording, and production software. Released at the 2016 NAMM show, this fully networked system, running over the company's Ethernet-based AVB network, features expandability through cascaded I/O boxes and control surfaces allowing up to 64 input channels.
The CS19AI control surface provides touch-sensitive, motorized faders and networked capability with the Studio One 3 digital audio workstation software. Compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, the AVB mix system features mix-control options for remote wi-fi operation, monitor-mix compatibility with the QMix-AI, and live recording with the company's Capture software. PreSonus says this all adds up to a powerful mix control system with a fast, intuitive workflow and the latest networking technology.
This new system, with its rack-mount portability and software integration, will give touring groups and mobile churches a solid option for mixing and monitoring while providing wireless control and flexibility. Packing these elements in a fully networked configuration, the StudioLive AVB mix system provides attractive options and expandability for both live mixing and recording.
