The Obsidian Control Systems team is ready for LDI 2024 in Las Vegas, where the company will highlight the Onyx platform at a dedicated booth designed to offer hands-on demonstrations, showcase the latest products, and provide expert insights into how Onyx can elevate professional lighting control for a wide range of productions.
Lighting designers, programmers, and operators are invited to explore the latest innovations from December 8 to 10 at Booth #2243 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“At this year’s LDI, we’re showcasing products in an interactive, purpose-built environment, and creating an experience where attendees can directly engage with Onyx tools,” says Obsidian Sales Manager John Lopez. “We welcome everyone to get hands-on, ask questions, and meet our newest team members, Daniel Boerner and Edward Smith. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, we invite you to stop by for a talk and a hands-on demo.”
The booth this year is designed with more space to highlight the Onyx platform with an expansive video wall simulating a large-format pre-visualization studio, and surrounding workstations featuring NX consoles so that programmers and designers can test-drive the consoles themselves.
Obsidian’s award-winning line of Netron data distribution devices will also be featured, including the new IP66-rated devices for live entertainment. All devices will be connected to Netron CLU management software, a central utility interface designed for ease of navigation.
Obsidian is also a sponsor of the LDI Institute’s Battle of the Busk and has Onyx consoles participating in the three-day workshop and competition that runs December 6-8.
The Battle of the Busk’s live show finale will be held just after the show's first day on Sunday, December 8th, from 6pm-7pm on a stage at the rear of the show floor next to the Circle Bar.
Visitors can explore the latest advancements in lighting control technology, exchange insights, and network with industry professionals at Booth #2243.
