The Livemix personal monitor system now includes the CS-Solo single user mixer, designed to allow users to place a personal mixer near the mixing console so that techs and engineers are better able to hear and adjust mixes on stage or behind studio glass.
According to the company press release, “Personal monitors reduce the need for loud stage monitors and allow performers to craft a custom mix that helps them perform their best. For some users, mixing 24 channels of audio, can be intimidating, even with the simple Livemix interface. MirrorMix remote mixing allows each personal mixer unit to effectively become a monitor desk, letting experienced users hear, load, and adjust mixes for users who need assistance.”
“One of the ways we made Livemix such a great value is combining two discrete mixes into one box with the CS-Duo. We heard stories of customers using it at the mix position to help stage and studio performers get better mixes,” says Ted Klein, president of Digital Audio Labs. “The CS-Solo can be used for those times a stage user is not close enough to another user to share a CS-Duo, or as a powerful front of house mix-support desk.”
The Livemix CS-SOLO is a single mix personal mixer offering the features of the CS-Duo in a single user package. “It features a color LCD touchscreen for quick mix changes, ME knob for instant access to the performers own volume, and 24 channels with effects. A free firmware upgrade gives users even more control over remote mixes, LCD brightness control with global dimming (useful to instantly dim all the Livemix screens on stage), and quick mute and solo options,” according to the release.
The CS-Solo is available for purchase now through dealers and retailers with a street price of $424.99.
