Released at the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Grass Valley has introduced its new Focus 75 Live camera. Built to serve the entry-level production market, the camera features standard broadcast formats and high quality imaging in an affordable package.
The Focus 75 Live camera features switchable 720p/1080i formats, giving users the ability to change on the fly as needed. With standard SD outputs, the camera integrates quickly into any existing broadcast system, live or installed.
Featuring three fully digital Xensium-FT CMOS imagers with global shutter operation, the camera gives a high level of sensitivity for productions where less lighting is available and can be used with a smaller iris setting to deliver an increased depth of field, allowing operators to hold a tighter focus. With a standard B4 2/3-inch lens mount, the camera will accommodate a wide-range of standard HD lenses on the market.
Ideal for smaller live studio and field applications, broadcast vans, university sports, and houses of worship, the Focus 75 Live brings high quality features at an attractive price point for users who do not need a top-of-the-line solution.
