Elation Professional has unveiled two new lighting fixtures at the 2016 Winter NAMM show. The new ACL 360i is a powerful single beam moving effect luminaire featuring a single 60W RGBW LED and advanced collimator optic lens, which produces a tight 4° color-changing beam. It also features 10 and 45 degree frost lens options, 16-bit continuous 360° pan and tilt rotation, strobe, color macros and selectable dimming curve effects. Weighing in at 11.5 lbs, the fixture consumes only 110W of power.
The Protron 3K Color is a high-power LED strobe light featuring 240 x 3W LEDs (60 x RGBW) and 40,000 lumens of peak power, giving an impressive output of color without thermal issues. Utilizing special optics and new LED driver technology, the Protron 3K Color features built-in macros including burst, pulse and lighting effects. With two power modes and a peak power output of 800W, it delivers a comparable yet energy-efficient solution when placed alongside other 3,000W Xenon strobes on the market.
Both fixtures, with their compact profile, energy efficiency, and wealth of features, will prove attractive among touring, installation, and house of worship designers when space, power, and budget are limited.
In addition to the ACL 360i and Protron 3K Color, Elation is also featuring three additional fixtures at the 2016 Winter NAMM show. The fixtures, which were recently introduced in 2015, include the Platinum FLX and Platinum HFX moving head hybrid luminaires. The high-power Platinum FLX features a 470W Philips MSD Platinum 20R lamp which provides up to 23,000 lumens. The smaller, more compact Platinum HFX features a 280W Philips MSD lamp providing up to 12,000 lumens. Both include spot and wash capabilities along with color correction, rotating gobo and prism wheels, and wash frost effects.
The Emotion fixture is a compact moving head digital light that houses an on-board media server running a 64GB solid state hard drive. Digital art and video media can be loaded into the fixture via a CMA application. This small, yet powerful projection fixture allows for immersive textures and environments to be implemented at a much more affordable price point and without the need for complex, external media servers.
