Digico expands its S range of digital audio consoles by adding the new S31, a bigger version of the S21. The console will be shown publically for the first time in the United States at WFX – Worship Facilities Conference and Expo in Louisville, KY September 21-22, 2016. The S31's expanded work surface offers 10 additional faders for more control and an additional 10-inch multi-touch screen for faster access and more visual feedback when compared to the existing S21, which was launched in early 2015. According to a company announcement, the S31 is ideally suited to larger live sound applications where more instant control and feedback are critical to the operator.
The S31 still offers 24 mic inputs and 12 Line outputs on the rear of the console, two DMI ports as standard, as well as a UB MADI interface for DAW recording.
The S31 is now shipping with newly release V1.3 Version software recently released on the S21. This is the biggest upgrade for the S21 since its launch in 2015, and the company says there is still more to come, with future updates and upgrades already planned.
