Community Professional Loudspeakers releases its new Compact I Series loudspeakers at the 2016 InfoComm Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company release says these new models are designed to match the "...performance, appearance, and voicing of the larger I Series point source and subwoofer models already on the market, making them suitable for distributed needs, front-fill, side-fill, or main speakers in smaller spaces."
The Compact I Series comprises three models. The IC6-1062 features a 6.5-inch low frequency woofer and a 100 degree horizontal dispersion fabric dome high frequency element. The single 8-inch IC6-1082 and symmetrical dual 8-inch IC6-2082 models both feature a rotatable horn, allowing for a 120 x 60 or 90 x 60 degree high frequency pattern from the 1.7-inch compression drivers. All three models feature 16 ohm impedance designed for efficient operation from a wide variety power amplifiers.
The speakers are available in textured black, white, or other custom colors. U-Brackets, Vertical Yokes, and a 70V/100V step up/step down voltage regulator configuration are optional when ordering. They are also available in weather-resistant enclosures along with stainless-steel and powder coated hardware for outdoor deployment.
