Clear-Com has released their new FreeSpeak II Base Station wireless intercom system at the 2016 InfoComm Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Featuring support for multiple frequencies and up to 25 wireless belt packs, along with a new fiber capable FreeSpeakII Splitter box for connecting up to five additional modules, the entire FreeSpeak II system comprises newly designed beltpacks, transceiver antennas, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the company's other intercom systems.
The Base Station model transmits digital signal over 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz frequency bands. A browser-based configuration manager allows for easy setup, monitoring, and real-time changes. It can act as both a master station or distributed-antenna transceiver. With two built-in SFP fiber connections, the station can operate in a native single-mode or multi-mode fiber link between stations or the FreeSpeak II Splitter. Multiple 2-wire and 4-wire ports are also available to connect with any industry-standard analogy partyline or 4-wire audio devices.
Suited for both indoor and outdoor use, the FreeSpeak II Splitter offers both SFP fiber and RJ45 Ethercon connections, LED status indicators, and DIP switch settings for CAT5 or Fiber operation. The box is IP rated for outdoor, weather-proof use.
