Released at the 2016 InfoComm show in Las Vegas, Nevada, the new AP Series of projectors from Christie offers 3LCD-based projection in a compact and affordable package. Integrating industry-standard features, including HDBaseT digital signal connection, the small footprint renders the AP Series perfect for classroom, meeting space, and house of worship installation and mobile applications.
The AP Series features two models which offer similar features but at two different resolutions. The LWU502 operates at a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio while the LW502 operates at a WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.
Both models include edge blending, warping, DICOM simulation–a medical imaging and connection standard for integrating scanners, printers, servers, and network hardware–and an optional wireless adapter for connecting to a LAN and showing presentations from a remote computer. The I/O panel features a full list of component and digital connections for both video and audio needs. A built-in 16W speaker provides audio output when needed.
The AP Series will begin shipping summer 2016.
