New Work Fellowship Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky preps for its live streamed worship service.
Staff at New Work Fellowship Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky report that their ministry was one of the first to respond by creating a live-streaming service that members could access in their homes. Realizing that its video background could either enhance or distract, the church sought out a high-quality backdrop with a branded look and feel.
To make the live-streaming service look its best, staff ordered a portable Quick Wall from Stretch Shapes, a stretch fabric manufacturer based in Eugene, Oregon. The Quick Wall is designed to be portable and easy to set up, and can carry a high resolution print. Company reps also say the wall's frame is sturdy as well as steady in its frame.
New Work Fellowship's chosen Quick Wall is custom-printed with woodgrain art and stands at 9.6 feet tall and 30 feet wide. Its custom size covers distracting cords and clutter, according to the church's tech staff, which significantly reduces viewers' visual background "noise."
The backdrop also allows the church to broadcast from anywhere with a branded and consistent look that's consistent for live stream viewers. Post-coronavirus, church staff plans to repurpose the backdrop as part of its stage design.
