Baldwin Hardware, a brand of the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) division of Spectrum Brands Inc., has unveiled its Palm Springs collection, inspired by the sculptural lines, contemporary patterns, and uncomplicated aesthetic of midcentury modern design. Hand-forged and meticulously designed, the Palm Springs collection is reported to provide architects and designers with endless design opportunities.
Palm Springs is handcrafted of solid brass and is available in five new handlesets, including tubular and mortise mechanics, two levers, three rosettes and one new deadbolt. It is also available in sleek new cabinet hardware offerings, including a distinctly Palm Springs knob with a beautiful silhouette, 3.75-inch and 6.0-inch pulls, and 15-inch and 18-inch appliance pulls. Developed exclusively by Baldwin's renowned in-house team of designers, the Palm Springs collection offers functional comfort blended with chic style.
“Simple. Elegant. Natural. These words truly define midcentury modern design and our new Palm Springs collection,” says PJ Rosch, senior brand manager for Baldwin Hardware, Spectrum Brands Inc. – Hardware and Home Improvement Division. “Palm Springs is available in all 20 Baldwin finishes, which provides optimal flexibility to work within a new or existing midcentury modern design aesthetic.”
Baldwin also introduced three brand new tubular handlesets and one new rosette to its Minneapolis collection. This is the first time all 20 Estate finishes will be available on a tubular handleset. Minneapolis features clean lines and a crisp, contemporary look.
