Absen Inc., a global leader in LED display solutions with U.S. offices in Orlando, Fla., acted as a key technology provider at the second annual LDI: Live Outside event during the LDI Conference and Tradeshow held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nov. 13-19, 2017.
Absen’s new X3v LED solution was utilized to make the HD center video wall for the outdoor staging area where various technology displays and demonstrations took place. Launched at InfoComm this past June, the Xv-Series has reportedly made a major impact on the rental and staging market with large investments by Nationwide Video, Abcomrents, Freeman, GoVision and Alford Media.
Designed with time saving features like easy installation and tear down, quick-to-swap power/data core, and front and rear serviceability that give clients an amazing return on investment, the Xv-series also provides:
- Creative curvability thanks to its integrated ±5° adjustable side locks
- Crystal clear Picture+ offers higher grayscale at lower brightness levels
- Flicker-free 3840Hz refresh rate
- Lightweight, weather-resistant design with universal, simple to replace modules
Towering LED wall
At the Absen LDI booth (#2528), attendees saw two towering LED walls featuring the company's X2v and the M2.9. Each wall will stretched from near the floor to the 30-foot ceiling, spanning more than 10 feet.
Absen’s indoor M2.9, launched at LDI last year, is reported to provide the rental and staging market with an ergonomic design that is 24% lighter than traditional panels, as well as innovative locks that allow end-users to lift and install in one easy movement. Each panel is front or rear serviceable, making it possible to keep each screen operational with an ease of service designed for any application.
The M2.9 and the X3v were also featured in Absen’s Hands-on Experience area at LDI, where attendees interacted with the panels to see all the features and functions both series provide.
For fixed installations, Absen also showcased the recently launched Acclaim series and the N-series. The Acclaim series, launched in October 2017 at WFX, is available in a range of pixel-pitch configurations: 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.9mm, 2.5mm and 3.8mm. Acclaim’s HD aspect ratio and 27.5-inch diagonal size allows four panels to create a 55-inch display like that of an LCD, but without mullions. The four panels can be installed on a standard VESA mount and allow the end user to work in a standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
“Absen LED products are rapidly becoming a standard in rental and staging applications, as well as fixed,” says Gary Fuller, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Absen Inc. “With facilities on both coasts and a growing high-profile partner list, we are bringing a focus to local service and support like no other LED manufacturer.”
